At first the prize of a great job can be exhilarating – the rewards from a profession, the challenge of corporate life, the satisfaction of team accomplishments in the plant or office, the thrill of opening a franchise, and so on. You don’t mind the extra hours. You’re advancing, learning, accomplishing. Life is fast. You are one of the fortunate ones.
